What guides us

Mission, vision, and values

Our Mission

To advance constitutional order and protect fundamental rights through advocacy, research, and partnership.

Our Vision

A Nigeria where democratic institutions are accountable and every citizen's rights are upheld.

Our Values

Integrity, rigor, non-partisanship, and respect for the rule of law in everything we publish and convene.

Our story

Why LOBRAC exists

Nigeria's constitution promises fundamental rights and democratic accountability — but promises need institutions that defend them daily.

LOBRAC was founded to be that institution: pairing rigorous constitutional research with grassroots civic education and international policy partnership, so reform arguments win in courtrooms, legislatures, and communities at once.

    Rule-of-law advocacy on currency policy

Publicly backed the CBN currency redesign while insisting all parties respect the rule of law.

  3. 2025
    Voice in the justice debate

Contributed to the national conversation on death warrants and gubernatorial responsibility.

  4. 2026
    Electoral reform coalition
